Juicing

Juicing is another dietary habit that requires moderation. Certainly any fruit or vegetable juice is far better for you than a soft drink or some other sugar-laced beverage. But the principle of moderation must once again be heeded. Juicing allows you to eat far more vegetables or fruit than you possibly could eat if you were to eat them whole. Nature has a way of determining your need for a food based on your hunger or appetite. Don't chronically "trick" your body into eating far more nutrient substances than it possibly could under normal circumstances. Undesirable mineral balances can result from a preoccupation with juicing. Have one small glass of juice or less each day; don't let juice become the entire focus of your diet. This is not to say, however, that some regular juicing cannot be a very valuable addition to your diet. Your clinical status, as well as your bloodwork and hair analysis, can give added clues as to whether you are drinking too much juice.
